Mount Mottarone

Mount Mottarone (1.492 meters) is also known as the "Mountain of the 7 lakes" for its breathtaking view on 7 lakes and the Italian and Swiss Alps. 

The peak can be reached by car from Stresa in around 40/45 minutes. The mountain is a paradise, both for bikers and hikers and for skiers in winter. At the top of Mottarone you can find several restaurants as well as an exhilarating bobsleigh.
